I’m Dreaming of A White Christmas
Christmastime is almost here. Will you be ready?
It’s the most wonderful time of the year and I am elated about celebrating the holiday season.
Christmas time brings a multitude and abundance of love into hearts and home across the pond and around the world.
Every year during the holiday season I feel a true sense of deep seated love that gets planted and grows from the moment that I feel a chill in the wind.
As temperatures fall and trees lose their blankets that hug them in spring and summer seasons I embrace new beginnings believing in more hope than any other time of the year.
It is then that I head towards my sofa to snuggle as I sit writing short stories called love.
My pen and pad rest in my hands as I open my mind to receive words that help me to create beautiful Christmas stories. With vivid images in my mind I envision a Christmas collage of vintage ornaments, angels and gold reindeer.
I see log cabins, snow covered roof tops and long winding roads that make me smile.
As I sit writing I smell the aroma of homemade baked goods. Red velvet cupcakes, dark chocolate brownies and of course chocolate chip cookies adorn my kitchen table. They have been lovingly handmade for family and friends.
Scrumptious as ever, each dessert is as good and palette warming as the other. They have been baked to comfort the soul in more ways than one. They also have been baked to share with friends.
Christmastime is almost hereÂ
With each new day springing forth there is love, hope, miracles wishes and great expectations. This is the spirit of Christmas.
Every year I look forward to giving love, receiving love and being that one special angel who opens her heart to all those who need to feel loved.
As we get closer to Christmas I give God thanks for this amazingly wonderful season.
Wonderful, whimsical and oh so beautiful is the Christmas season. It is a very special time that brings out the warmth and love from the hearts of those who love this sensational season.
If you love Christmas as much as I do then you understand the importance of basking in its presence.
What will you be doing to celebrate your holiday season this year? Perhaps you’ll invite friends over to create new memories or maybe you’ll enjoy a cookie exchange with neighbors.
Whatever you do I hope that you enjoy every moment of the season and love on those you love deeper than you ever have before.
Christmastime is almost here.
Merry Christmas,
Cyndi
