Christmas Is Every Where

Will You Be Ready When The Christmas  Season Arrives

The joys of the Christmas season

The Joy of the Christmas Season

Christmas will be here in a matter of days, four months to be exact. Will you be ready?. I know I will be. I have a few more gifts to buy. I’ll be shopping online for a few small items this weekend. Can you say, I am excited? I am over the moon and beyond elated.

Defining the joys of the Christmas season is so much fun. I have been going in and out of stores looking for Christmas. So far the only store that is spilling over is Hobby Lobby. I went to two Dollar Tree stores and they were bare. They barely had any fall decorations.

I was hoping to find some crafting materials at Dollar Tree, but those shelves were empty as well. There is one more Dollar Tree that I know of and I will visit to see what they have.

Anyway getting back to Christmas. Hobby Lobby had some beautiful Christmas ornaments. The ones that I saw were absolutely gorgeous. I don’t think I have ever seen such a huge inventory of Christmas. I got so excited seeing it all I didn’t know which way to turn.

My Next Stop Christmas Shop

The Joys of the Christmas Season

My next stop for Christmas shopping will be Home Goods again. When I was there not too long ago they only had autumn decorations and I must say that they were lovely. Home Goods always has some beautiful things for the home and holidays. I love that their prices are amazing quality and their items have amazing prices.

I’ll be going to Home Goods before the week ends.

I’ll share more of the joys of the Christmas season with you and all of my beautiful Christmas finds too and I hope they give you a little touch of inspiration when it comes to decorating your home for the holiday season.

Merry Christmas Everyone,

Cyndi

Christmas Shopping, Wrapping and Baking

Welcoming the Sounds and Joys of the Christmas Season

Enjoying the love of the Christmas season

Enjoying the love of the Christmas season

Can you believe that I have started my Christmas shopping. There are about six more gifts that I have to purchase and I will be finished. The goal is for me to have my shopping done by August 30.

Here’s how I shop. First, I look for sales. I also try my best to get free shipping on every item that I purchase, but it has to be worth it. Sometimes you have to use more money in order to get free shipping. If I have to buy something that is of no use to me just to get free shipping then it doesn’t make sense for me to use more money just to get free shipping if that makes any sense.

Let’s Go Christmas Shopping

My youngest son is a huge Lakers fan. He loves Kobe so every year at Christmas I try my best to find Lakers gear for him. This year I have found some really good sales.

Fanatics, NBA Store and Lakers stores are my go to for finding the best items. I usually shop for sweatpants, sweatshirts and hats.

This year I signed up with Nike and have found some unbelievable sales. Nike’s quality is top notch and I love how they design their clothes. My son loves anything Nike. Their clothing is the finest quality and they last forever.

Next up on my Christmas list is my oldest son. It’s extremely hard to buy for him. He loves a really good smelling cologne. This year I’ll get him a nice scented cologne that’s not hard on my nose! LOLLLL

Christmas gift cards are also a nice gift. I’m thinking about getting him a few gift cards as well.

And then there’s my two daughters. I have yet to decide on their gifts. I will have it figured out by the weekend.

Christmas Shopping For All My Loves

Enjoying the Love of the Christmas Season

I will purchase a few small items for my husband. He’s not hard to please whatsoever. Maybe a nice cologne or some sweatpants, but I’ll see what’s out there for him.

When Saturday rolls around I’ll have a Christmas wrapping party all by myself. I’ll bake some brownies and enjoy the beautiful ambiance. I’m getting an early jump start on Christmas this year. I want to be able to sit back and relax during the months of November and December. I am going to need a little me time to regroup and just enjoy the Christmas holidays.

What are your plans for Christmas shopping, wrapping and baking. I’d love to hear your plans.

Merry Christmas,

Cyndi

Decorating My Home for Christmas

How I Decorate My House for the Christmas Season

Warming Homes with Beautiful Christmas Decorations and Amazing Ideas

With a Jingle Bell here, a Merry Christmas there and Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, I think we all can agree that Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year!

It is no surprise that many stores have lined their shelves with bright and beautiful Christmas decorations. I love seeing the illuminating colors that so remind me of what this joyous holiday season represents. For me it represents love.

Walking into various stores and seeing their lovely Christmas displays warm my heart. My spirit comes more alive during this wonderful time of the year.

Every year at Christmas I find myself spending quiet time at HomeGoods, TJMaxx, HomeSense and now Burlington. I have a new Burlington in my neighborhood and I can’t wait to get there.

I already have my camera ready to record the wonders of the season and as my eyes scroll through all of the breathtaking decor I smile. I cannot wait to start decorating my home. This is an exciting time for me because I get to pull out my lovely Christmas decorations to decorate every inch of my home

Christmas Decor Starts in the Heart

Warming Homes with Beautiful Christmas Decorations

First, I start in my living room. I have a host of table runners so I start with those to compliment the decorations that I’ll be adding. Each piece is special to me which means they all have a special place in my home. I try my best to coordinate the table runners to ensure an easy on the eye kind of flow throughout.

After placing my table runners on each table (there are 3) I then begin adding Christmas bulbs. These Christmas ornaments of red, gold and purple are my favorite colors. They have been my Christmas theme for many years now. I love all of these colors because they deeply resonate with every inch of me and how I want my home to look and feel.

Next I will be adding my small collection of Santas. I have a red clothed Santa Claus and a blue-coat clothed Santa Claus. One Santa will go on my sofa table and the other on my coffee table. These will be greeted by my precious family of angels and elves. Most of my pieces have a lot of red in them which really makes my living room stand out and pop with color with subtle touches of Christmas surroundings them all.

Being able to use my imagination in a great way has helped me design a unique Christmas tray that consist of more Christmas ornaments and lights. When I designed my first tray almost 15 years ago it immediately became one of my very special Christmas designs that I have ever created. I need to do more like this and I think I will this year. I am not an arts and crafts person, but I’m going to try to incorporate some new ideas which I see in my mind.

Moving on, I have large red Christmas balls that I hang in my picture window every year. I must keep the flow of Christmas throughout my home and these also add the perfect touch. I remember one year the delivery guy delivered oil to my home and he said he had never seen such a beautiful window display before. I thought that was so nice of him to notice and to tell me that he loved my Christmas decor.

As I type this i just thought about making some Christmas crafts to see how they come out. I’ll keep you posted.

Christmas Just Ain’t Christmas Without Red and Gold Decor

Another one of my Christmas decorations that I adore is my gold reindeer. Unfortunately, he was broken and now I am on the hunt to find another one. If I can find another gold reindeer I’ll buy two or three to place them around my living room and in my picture window. I think reindeer are beautiful and they speak Christmas to my heart.

Because I decorate every inch of my home from my front door to my kitchen door, my two red wreaths will go up as well. One will go on the front door inside of my house and the other I will place on my sofa table. My Christmas lights will be another extra added attraction to my home’s decor.

There will also be about 4 candy dishes all around my home. I usually have Hershey Kisses, Spearmint and Peppermint candy and I’ll do the same this time around. My family loves sweets. My famous dark chocolate brownies and chocolate chip cookies will be snuggled up in a beautifully designed Christmas canister.

And then there are my Scented Christmas candles will give my rooms a soft subtle scent that adds just the right amount of loveliness in my home.

Now, what about you; how will you decorate your home for Christmas this year? Are you planning on using the same theme as last year or will you be doing something you’ve never done before? However you decide to decorate your home for Christmas this year I know you are going to make it great and look amazing.

Warming homes with beautiful Christmas decorations is an amazing way to welcome in Christmas and all the love that Christmas brings.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

The True Meaning of Christmas

The Meaning of the Christmas Season Fills My Home

The True Meaning of Christmas

The true meaning of Christmas resides in my home and fills my heart with love year round.

For me and my lovely family Christmas is warmth, love and comfort on the couch. Nestled deep into the most comfortable couch situated in the perfect place which is in my living room and handcrafted with brilliant design elements that make my couch a comfy place, I love to snuggle on the sofa with an abundance of soft pillows, quilts and blankets surrounding me.

There Will Always Be a Story About About Christmas and What It Means To Me

Christmastime means embracing the holiday season with a real sense of joy! This is the same joy that brings many miracles that teaches us the importance of loving one another. I love this awesome feeling that hugs me tightly morning, noon and night and never lets me go.

This wonderful feeling moves me with compassion. It also clothes me with inspiration and when this happens I quickly grab my pen and notebook and the writing session begins.

It is then that I pour out my heart to write short stories of Christmas love. This feeling is accompanied by beautiful Christmas poems.

This feeling then takes me into my kitchen where I find myself opening.a box of Ghirardelli Dark Brownie Chocolate Mix, my favorite brownie mix. The dark chocolate lends a touch of warm for my spirit and love for my stomach. Most of the time you won’t find a brownie left after they’ve cooled down. My family gobbles them up so fast that I find myself baking more brownies the next day during the Christmas Season.

During our baking sessions it is only appropriate for Christmas music to chime in followed by my singing, dancing and with tears in the midst.

One of my favorite Christmas is O Holy Night. Josh Groban is one of my favorite Christmas singers and along with his rendition of Celebration Me Home, my house is never dry. Tears fall and with good reason.

Does Christmas make you feel warm and fuzzy all over? Can you describe what Christmas means to you and the feeling that flows into your life, heart and home?

I hope you’re getting to be warmed and I hope you enjoy all the days leading up to the most wonderful time of the year.

Merry Christmas Everyone,

Christmas Is Coming and Autumn Too

Let The Festivities Begin

Fall and Christmas Festivities

Fall and Christmas Festivities

Hello Christmas Luminaries,

This week my spirit has been filled with the feeling of Christmas.

I went to Hobby Lobby looking for Christmas and my oh my, I found Christmas. Yes, I found Christmas at every turn. I got so excited and wanted to stay there all day long. It was amazing seeing all of the autumn and Christmas decor. The shelves were abundant and the vibrant and bright colors popped!

There was an enormous variety of fall decorations and the Christmas trees were covered with multi-colored lights as well as with white lights.

I took pictures and made a few videos to share with you. To say that I was beyond excited to see all of this festive beauty in one space is putting it mildly.

Autumn and Christmas Decorations

Fall and Christmas Festivities

We are just a few short weeks away from the Fall season and I’ll be ready. I’m not sure if I’ll be covering my home from top to bottom with fall or if I will just add a few touches of Autumn here and there. As much as I love the season, Christmas is and always will be my first love. Last year I added a few pieces of fall which did not stay up long because I went crazy for Christmas. It literally flooded my thoughts and I found myself decorating my entire house from top to bottom, from to back.

Also, I bought a flocked tree for the first time in my life. My family and I have always had a real or live tree, but we decided to buy a flocked tree in 2023. It was so pretty. I purchased it from King of Christmas and I was not disappointed even though I could have decorated it a lot more. White lights came with the tree and I added red bulbs. This year I will add a lot more Christmas ornaments to make it really beautiful.

During the fall and Christmas seasons I look forward to celebrating my own unique and personalized fall and Christmas festivities because I look forward to more love, to give and to share all that my heart tells me to.

As I get ready for the holiday season, I hope that you, too, will personalize your holidays and enjoy every second of the season!

Merry Christmas to all,

Christmas Is Coming

Season’s Greetings, Christmas Luminaries,

Welcome to Christmas in my home

Christmas in my home

Can you believe Christmas is right up the road. I am so excited I cannot wait to put up my Christmas tree and decorate my entire house from top to bottom for this joyous holiday season!

Here’s how I plan to decorate my home this year.

Every year at Christmas I create a theme for the most wonderful time of the year. This year my  theme will be gold reindeer and beautiful Christmas angels. My color palette will be the Christmas tradition that I grew up with and simply love which is red and green with a little bit of gold mixed in.

Starting at the front door I will add a lovely traditional Christmas wreath. Should you enter into my home physically or by your imagination, you will see two gold reindeer comfortably nesting in my warm candle lit living room. To this gorgeous display I will also be adding red hurricanes, by Valerie Parhill, that I purchased on QVC. They are simply gorgeous.

Christmas Is Coming and I’ll Be Ready

Christmas in my home

In addition to all of this Christmas wonder, stringed white lights will accompany the greenest garland joyfully laid across the window sill for beauty and splendor. This window brings a lot of light into my home.

Last year I bought a cute little gingerbread couple that I found on QVC so I will be sure to put them out for a conversation piece. I got them on sale for a really great price.

A few years ago I purchased Luminara candles, a special collection from, again, QVC. They will go on my coffee table up against the wall in my great room. They will add a soft light affect throughout my home this Christmas.

It won’t be long before Christmas in my home will come to life. I am truly looking forward to Christmas 2024 and as I countdown the days until Christmas I will be dreaming of this special holiday season and enjoying the love that it brings.

Merry Christmas Everyone.

Christmas Eve In Our Home

A Toast To Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve in our home

Christmas Eve In Our Home

It’s Christmas Eve and our home is festive and overflowing with love. The fireplace is warm and we are all sitting in comfy-cozy.

Dinner was delicious and dessert scrumptious. The dark chocolate brownies warmed our palettes and hot cocoa comforted every inch of our spirits.

Andy Williams sang to us and now it’s time to watch Home Alone before we all head up to bed.

Reflecting on Christmas past, we are always thankful for all the times that we gathered together to create those memorable moments that we love.

We love this very special time of year. Christmas illumines our hearts and clothes us with love. Forever grateful we will be.

As the night slowly comes to a close, we remember those who are no longer here in physically, but always near in memory.

It’s time for bed now. Christmas Eve is quiet. It is serenity and peace sprinkled with good cheer.

We kneel to pray to thank God for this beautiful day that has now turned into night. Never in darkness we are surrounded by the Light that makes Christmas so very special both day and night.

Merry Christmas to all and to all be blessed by the Light.
