Noel and a Holly Jolly Christmas To All
All things Christmas is a way to keep happiness and joy in my heart and home everyday that I breathe.
One thought of Christmas and my home immediately becomes a Christmas wonderland. On my front door you will find an abundant, bright and beautiful Christmas wreath.
I place this all red wreath on the inside of my door. The reason I do this is so that I can enjoy my gorgeous sparkling glittering wreath throughout the holidays. I love seeing and looking at my wreath every time I enter my living room.
Should you come to my home, walk up the walk way to the front of my house you’ll be greeted by a large picture window decorated with white Christmas lights, large red ornaments with gold swirls, Mr. Claus and gold reindeer.
Is it safe to say that you would be in awe and deeply inspired to create and design your very own Christmas window display the minute you enter my home?
Visions of a Winter Wonderland
Please, allow me to share visions of all things Christmas.
When conversations about Christmas dominate my thoughts and flow from my mouth to my daughter’s heart here’s what happens. I organize my thoughts beginning with shopping for Christmas gifts for family.
The excitement begins and lasts the entire holiday season and it all starts with the first Christmas gift that I purchase.
Here’s how I shop for my family for Christmas. Either I shop online or in person. I prefer online because I almost always get free shipping and don’t you just love free shipping.
Also, I look for the best sales and guess what, I always find them. A love a great bargain.
I define a great bargain like this; great quality with a fantastic low price. And guess what, I have a deadlines for ordering all of my presents. My goal Is to have my shopping completed by September 30th.
After I’ve completed my shopping I then make plans for decorating my home.
Joyously Decorating House Windows and Doors
I pull out all the lights, reindeer, red and gold ornaments and every other Christmas decoration that I can find.
Every year I tell myself that I will not buy another decoration, but then I turn on QVC or head to Home Goods and I find myself buying more stuff.
The next thing that I just adore is baking for the holidays. From chocolate chip cookies to dark chocolate brownies I bake.
I get out my Kitchen Aid and the baking begins. You can smell the love throughout my home all season long.
Sometimes I’ll bake early and freeze my desserts and other times I’ll bake during the week leading up to Christmas Eve.
Now one more thing, gift wrapping.
I enjoy wrapping my gifts myself, but I always wait until the last minute which leaves me feeling rushed and rushed can be stressful. That is why this year all of my gifts will be wrapped by October 1st.
What about you. How do you kick off and celebrate the holiday season?
Merry Christmas Everyone,
Cyn
